To really appreciate the beauty of the neighborhood, catching a sunrise or a sunset at the historic Manhattan Beach Pier is a favored activity. With gorgeous white-sand beaches and clear blue waters surrounding it, the area provides a blissful atmosphere to soak in the warm California sun. The pier is also widely recognized for its incredible year-round fishing and houses the Roundhouse Aquarium at the end for those interested in marine biology. 
 
To soak in stunning scenery, hiking up the 100-foot-tall sand dune at Sand Dune Park or riding along the 21-mile Marvin Braude Bike Trail, also known as The Stand, offers some of the best views in the area.
